Spiritual Vietnam - 8 Days / 7 Nights

Vietnam is full of cultural intrigue and fascinating historical sites. Your tour of Vietnam begins in the buzzing city of Ho Chi Minh City where we visit local neighborhoods on foot and spend time in a nearby monastery to learn about spiritual beliefs. While in Saigon, as it still affectionately referred to by locals, you will visit a traditional medicine museum and venture to a small temple honoring 5 mother goddesses before visiting a monastery where the monks are happy to show you their home and give you an astrology reading.

While in Hoi An you will explore the city on a cyclo tour and learn about this UNESCO World Heritage Site with visits to many of the city's famous landmarks including the 400 year old Japanese covered bridge and its colorful markets. After discovering all Hoi An has to offer we depart for Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Here you can find out about the last emperors of Vietnam with insights to the lives of these imperial families.

Contemplate on your tour of Vietnam during a 1 hour spiritual Tai Chi session with Master Vuong in Hanoi. No previous experience is necessary and each person is taught about breathing and concentration technique. Later you are taken to the picturesque West Lake and the sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, from here it is just 700meters to the nearby Taoist temple of Quan Thanh which is dedicated to Tran Vu, one of the principal deities in Taoism. The tour finishes with an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Witness the stunning limestone karsts that rise from the emerald sea in this breathtaking bay in northern Vietnam.
